2.1 What personal data do we collect and where from?
2.1.1 Customers, subscribers, customer club members, WanderChics+ members, and competition participants**
On the Website, you can purchase goods and services directly from WanderChics and/or from WanderChics’ Partners who have chosen to sell their products and services through the Website. When you make a purchase on the Website, you enter into an agreement with WanderChics or with one of WanderChics’ Partners. To manage your purchases and fulfill our obligations towards you as a customer, it is necessary for us to process the personal data you provide or have provided to us.

Subscribers to newsletters
WanderChics processes your purchase history and email address to send you WanderChics’ newsletters with personalized offers, discount codes, and information on relevant campaigns from WanderChics and our Partners. For this purpose, we analyze your personal data at an aggregated level.
Fulfillment of contract: If you have chosen to receive newsletters from us, we process your personal data based on our contract for the newsletter subscription.
Subscribers to price alerts on the Website
WanderChics processes your email address and your selected monitored products and services to inform you about price changes in accordance with the price alerts you have registered for goods and services on the Website.
Fulfillment of contract: If you have registered for price alerts on the Website, we process your personal data based on our contract for price alerts for the goods and services you have registered on the Website.
2.2.3 Members of WanderChics’ customer club
The purpose of being a member of WanderChics' customer club is for you to receive personalized offers, selected general member offers, and a tailored shopping experience. This means we will ensure that you receive customized notifications about price changes, news, invitations to campaigns and events, and product recommendations, and for this purpose, we process your personal data. Typically, we communicate with our members via email, SMS, and on the Website, but we may also communicate with you as a member by mail. Therefore, it is important that you, as a member, keep your personal data updated on your profile. You can always log in to your profile and update your contact details.
WanderChics processes your personal data within the framework of the customer club for the purposes and legal grounds outlined below.
Fulfillment of membership agreement: We process your personal data to create your membership account on your profile, establish your user details, verify that you are an individual and over 18 years old, provide you with the ability to view your order and purchase history, and manage your settings and choices. We also need to process your personal data to allow you to save products in your cart and on your wish list.
We process your personal identification number to update your address details, ensure that any value documents are sent to the right person, and maintain good customer and record care.
We process your email address and your choices for monitored products and services to inform you about price changes in accordance with the customized price alerts you have registered for goods and services on your membership account.
We process your purchase history and your email address to send newsletters with personalized offers, discount codes, and information on relevant campaigns from WanderChics and our Partners. For this purpose, we also analyze your personal data at an aggregated level.
Personalized products: WanderChics offers “Personalized Products” in its email newsletters corresponding to what is shown on the Website under “You might also like” and “Recommended for you.” For this purpose, we analyze your purchase and click history, what you have added to your cart, your age, location, and other choices you have made on the Website so WanderChics can offer you relevant products. The analysis is primarily done on an aggregated level but can also be done on an individual level to provide even better and more personalized offers tailored just for you.
Legitimate interest: We are interested in evaluating, developing, and improving our services and the Website to offer our members the best possible experience and provide service on the Website. We will therefore aggregate our members' personal data to develop the customer club and the Website. Processing based on WanderChics' legitimate interest is carried out only if such legitimate interest outweighs your and others' interest in protecting personal privacy. 2.2.4 Members of WanderChics +
WanderChics processes your personal data within the framework of your membership in WanderChics+ for the purpose and legal basis outlined below.
Fulfillment of contract: We process your personal data to fulfill your purchase of a WanderChics+ membership, as well as information about your active membership to ensure you receive free shipping on your orders and to send newsletters with offers and discount codes specific to WanderChics+ customers. If you became a member of WanderChics+ before November 4, 2021, we also process your personal data to calculate your entitlement to cashback and send gift cards to you, which means we also process your purchase history.
2.2.5 Competition participants
WanderChics processes your personal data if you participate in a competition organized by WanderChics for the purpose and legal grounds outlined below.
Consent: If you have chosen to participate in a competition, we process your personal data based on your consent to administer the competition, including selecting winners and distributing prizes. We will also verify the winner’s age. You can withdraw your consent to participate in the competition at any time (see more about this in section 3 “Your Rights” below).
Legitimate interest: If you contact WanderChics' customer service with questions or feedback regarding a competition, WanderChics will process your personal data to fulfill the communication with you.
2.3 Storage of personal data
WanderChics takes all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is processed and stored securely. Your personal data will never be kept longer than permitted by applicable law or for the purposes outlined above. Your personal data is processed by us during the time periods listed below, after which it will be deleted.
Customers: If you have purchased goods on our Website, your personal data (name, personal ID number, address, phone number, email, as well as payment and delivery information) provided in connection with the order of goods and services will be stored for two years or as long as necessary for WanderChics or our Partners to fulfill the agreement with you. This includes processing for fulfillment of delivery or service commitments. This does not apply if we need to retain your personal data for longer due to any of the points below.
Newsletter subscribers: If you have subscribed to WanderChics’ newsletter, your personal data will be stored until you unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter.
Subscribers to price alerts on the Website: If you have subscribed to price alerts for goods and services on the Website, your personal data will be stored for no longer than one year if no price changes occur. If a price change occurs within a year, the monitoring will remain active and extend for one year at a time from the date the most recent price change notification was sent to your registered email address. You can unsubscribe from a price alert at any time by clicking the link included in the email sent regarding a price change, logging into your user account on the Website, or by contacting WanderChics' customer service and requesting that your personal data be deleted.
Club members: If you have registered as a member of WanderChics' customer club, your personal data will be stored until you unsubscribe but no longer than three years after your last activity unless WanderChics needs the information for another reason as outlined below.
WanderChics+ members: If you have purchased a membership in WanderChics+, we store the personal data provided in connection with the purchase of the subscription and the personal data we collect during your membership until the membership ends.
Competition participants: If you have consented to WanderChics processing your personal data in connection with competition participation, we store your personal data as long as necessary to administer the competition.
3. Your Rights
Right to Access
You have the right to request information about the personal data we have stored about you and how it is being used, at no cost. To do this, please contact us using the details provided below. For your privacy and protection, we may ask you to verify your identity when making this request.
Right to Rectification
WanderChics wants to make sure your personal information is accurate and up to date. You can update your details anytime by visiting "My Pages" if you're a member of our customer club or have an account. Otherwise, feel free to contact our customer service.
Right to Erasure and Portability
You can request that we delete personal data related to you or remove your user account from the website at any time. We will remove the personal data unless it’s needed for other purposes we originally collected it for. This will also happen if you withdraw your consent for the data processing. Additionally, you can ask us to transfer your personal data to another controller in an electronic format.
Right to Withdraw Consent
If the processing of your data is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time for future data processing. Once you do, we will stop the processing.

4.1 Transfer to Countries Outside the EU/EEA
In cases where WanderChics uses or will use subcontractors or collaborate with partners established outside the EU/EEA area, WanderChics is responsible for ensuring that these parties can guarantee a level of security equivalent to that within the EU.
To ensure sufficient protection for your personal data when transferring it to countries outside the EU/EEA, where a decision on an adequate level of protection by the EU Commission is missing, WanderChics has, in applicable cases, entered into agreements with the respective data recipients, containing standard contractual clauses adopted and approved by the EU Commission, including but not limited to the standard clauses adopted through Commission Decision 2001/497/EC, 2004/915/EC, or 2010/87/EU.
In addition, when the protection level in the recipient country is not considered equivalent to that within the EU/EEA, WanderChics implements additional protective measures such as pseudonymization, IP anonymization, and encryption.
